Leisure Services Online Bookings Terms and Conditions

The Online Booking Service is available at www.midulstercouncil.org and is provided by Mid Ulster District Council.

Use of this site is governed by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using the online booking service. By using the service, you indicate that you accept & agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions.

1.0 General

The Terms and Conditions relating to Online Bookings should be viewed as an addition to the existing MUDC Leisure Service booking conditions.

2.0 Access

Online Booking service is provided for the use of MUDC Leisure Services Members only.

3.0 Registration

Online registration must be completed prior to accessing the Online booking service.

3.1 Passwords

Membership number and Password must be kept confidential, as you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Failure to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use may result in MUDC Leisure Services disabling membership and/or password at any time.

4.0 Online Booking

4.1 Booking activities

MUDC members registered for Online Booking can book activities in advance (min. 24hrs, maximum 7 days depending on the activity). Due to capacity restrictions, Members may only book three online activity bookings per day. A maximum of 21 items (consisting of activity or class bookings or a combination of the two) may be booked per 7-day period. Bookings can also be made either in person or by phone by contacting Mid Ulster Leisure Service facilities.

 

 

4.2 Payment

Payment of the appropriate booking fee is required at the time of making the Online Booking. Bookings that have not been paid will time out after five minutes. A booking is only confirmed when an email receipt has been received. Payment for bookings made through the online booking service is made through World Pay E-payment portal. World Pay accepts the following card types:

• Mastercard • UK Debit Mastercard • Maestro • Visa • Visa Electron • American Express • Solo • JCB. Credit or debit card information is not retained for bookings made through the online booking service.

4.3 Attendance

Online Bookings made through the online service are for members only and registered member must attend for the booking.

The booking receipt must be presented at Reception on arrival at the Leisure Centre.

Note: MUDC reserves the right to apply 10 minutes of a booking slot for any necessary equipment changeover or set up.

4.4 Cancelling an activity booking

Activities booked through the Online Booking Service cannot be cancelled online. MUDC members must cancel their activities at the chosen Leisure facility by telephone, in person or via email, in advance of the activity start time. A minimum period of 24hrs notice must be given or payment for the booking shall be forfeited. In the event of a booking cancellation by the Leisure facility, an alternative booking slot may be offered at the discretion of MUDC, subject to availability.

5.0 Leisure Services Class Timetable

The Leisure Services Class Timetable is available online and as a PDF download from the main Mid Ulster District Council website. Alternatively, paper copies are available at Reception.

5.1 Booking a class

All classes have limited places available; therefore, it is highly recommended that you book your place in advance. MUDC members registered for online bookings can book classes in advance (min. 24hrs, maximum 7 days depending on the activity). MUDC members may only book one place per class, which is for their sole intended use. The place is not transferable to another member or non-member. A maximum of 21 items (consisting of activity, class bookings or a combination of the two) may be booked per 7-day period.

5.2 Payment

5.3 Cancelling a pre-booked class place

Classes booked through the Online Booking Service cannot be cancelled online. MUDC members must cancel their activities at the chosen Leisure facility via telephone or in person, in advance of the activity start time. A minimum period of 24hrs notice must be given or payment for the booking shall be forfeited. In the event of a booking cancellation by the Leisure facility, an alternative booking slot may be offered at the discretion of MUDC, subject to availability.

Note: E-mail cancellation requests will not be accepted for class bookings.

6.0 Leisure Services Course Timetable

The Leisure Services Course Timetable is available online and as a PDF download from the main Mid Ulster District Council website. Alternatively, paper copies are available at Reception.

6.1 Booking a course

All courses have limited places available. MUDC members may book one or multiple places per course but place(s) must be for the sole intended use of the recipient. The place is not transferable to another member or non-member.

6.2 Payment

6.3 Cancelling a pre-booked course place

Courses booked through the Online Booking Service cannot be cancelled online. MUDC members must cancel their activities at the chosen Leisure facility in writing, in advance of the course start time. A Minimum period of 24hrs notice must be given or full/part-payment of the course may be forfeited.

7.0 Refunds

In the event that you are unable to attend a course booking and contact is made in advance, (see point 6.3) an alternative slot will be offered subject to availability, or a refund issued.

Upon receipt of written correspondence requesting a refund, MUDC Member(s) will be informed of the decision within 3 working days. A refund will only be authorised at the discretion of the Leisure Manager.

In the event of a course cancellation by an MUDC Leisure facility, an alternative place will be offered subject to availability or a full refund issued.

8.0 Member Communications

8.1 Auto generated emails from MUDC

There are five instances where auto generated emails will be sent to registered members:

1)    Online Booking Registration - an account activation link is sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.

2)    Username Retrieval - a logon link is sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.

3)    Booking Confirmation - A confirmation link to a printable booking confirmation is sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.

4)    Booking Failure - if a problem occurs committing a booking then an email is sent to the address provided at the time of registration.

5)    Change of Password - a confirmation email is sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.

Note: Members should not respond to auto generated emails.

 

8.2 Online bookings messaging service

By signing up to the online bookings facility you agree that MUDC may communicate with you about issues affecting your past, current or future class and/or activity bookings via the Site Messaging Service. Members are advised to check their messages when logging onto the site and ahead of any scheduled bookings. MUDC may contact you concerning issues such as:

• Problems with the site or service • Advanced notification, where possible of works affecting either the Site, Service or the venue • Class venue changes, cancellations, change to advertised timetable etc.

8.3 Members communicating with MUDC

Members wishing to communicate with MUDC regarding bookings made online should contact Reception in person, by telephone or via email. Contact details are available on the Horizon homepage. Members should provide the following details upon request:

• Member Number • Booking Reference Number • Class or Activity • Date and time of booking
